This dynamic duo is no longer contagious and ready to find a furever home as soon as possible!

Before the pupdate, here is the story of Jack and Diane…

At the end of August, we were alerted about these two dogs. It took us a few days to get to them as we had an unfortunate week of 911 calls and thought surely a rescue closer to them would pick them up. THEN—we got alerted about them again on September 2. WE COULD NOT BELIEVE THEY WERE STILL OUT ON THE STREET. These poor angels were just so starved fending for themselves for weeks and narrowly escaping getting hit by cars. We wished we had gotten to them sooner in our rescue que.

They are dirty, they are sick, and we had to go get them. These dogs deserve better than this. They were dumped on the street a few weeks ago and all of their puppies are DEAD! They did not stand a chance DOGS ARE NOT PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, those days are long gone and their new lives started on September 3rd as DogRRRs Jack and Diane.

We are here to keep our promises and make sure that Jack and Diane will have the care they should have had a long time ago. It took nearly a month of treatment, but Jack and Diane no longer have mange and are not contagious.

These two pups are the sweetest little pocket pitties, they do not weigh more than 40lbs.

We can also use help paying for their vetting. Please consider making a donation for Jack and Diane: Dallasdogrrr.org/donate or https://www.paypal.me/DallasDogRRR.

Dallas DogRRR is a group of dedicated, animal-loving volunteers who support the abandoned dogs of Dallas, Texas, by collecting supplies, paying vet bills, locating foster families, facilitating adoptions, and advocating for a more hopeful future. We are often seen even in the trenches of SE Dallas searching for and rescuing forgotten dogs.

We have no administrative fees; no one is on payroll. Every single cent that is donated goes directly to paying for vet bills and food/supplies for our rescued dogs, as well as for boarding (for those that don’t have fosters). We are simply a group of volunteers motivated by the inspiring rescue stories that we get to be a part of every day!

Interested in joining us on our adventures? We have so many ways for you to get involved.
