Pink on Her Way to See the Vet

Once a dog officially becomes a Dallas DogRRR rescue, we get right to work changing their lives for the better. The transformation process is amazing. Our first priority is to take our newly rescued pup for a check-up at the vet and a much-needed bath! We work with a caring, dedicated clinic that gives a thorough examination, recommends a customized plan for treatment of anything they find, and follows up with them to make sure they’re doing well. All bases are covered from scheduling spay/neuter procedures, beginning flea and heartworm preventative, and updating all required vaccinations.

Banksy Napping on His Foster’s Couch

One of the sweetest sights to see is a newly rescued, newly bathed pup curled up in her very own blanket sound asleep with a nice, full belly. Our fosters provide a safe place for our rescue dogs to do just that! During their first few days, their time is full of good food, long naps, and lots of belly rubs. (P.S. We don’t actually give our pups BBQ.)

Evaluation & Training

In addition to all of this pampering, each of our dogs are also evaluated to determine what type of rehabilitation process they will need. This process is full of empowering training. We help them brush up on what they already know and learn new skills that will help them be a happier, more secure, and confident pup. Click here to learn more about a few of the specific training areas we focus on!
